We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Store Manager to lead our retail store and coordinate our pool service operations. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys leadership, customer service, and working in a hands-on environment.

About the Store Manager role

As a Service Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our service department, manage staff, and ensure excellent service for both retail customers and pool service clients. You will play a key role in driving sales, maintaining high operational standards, and supporting our team of pool technicians.

This is a full-time position based in Doncaster East.

Key Responsibilities

Pool Service Coordination

  • Schedule and coordinate pool service jobs with technicians.
  • Ensure service work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Communicate with customers regarding service visits and outcomes.

Customer Service

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with customers.
  • Assist customers with pool and spa water testing and chemical recommendations.
  • Handle enquiries, service bookings, and customer concerns professionally.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, train, and support retail staff and pool service technicians.
  • Manage staff rosters and allocate daily tasks.
  • Foster a positive team culture focused on service and teamwork.

Store Operations

  • Manage daily store operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Maintain high standards of store presentation, merchandising, and cleanliness.
  • Manage stock levels including ordering, receiving, and inventory control.
  • Oversee POS transactions, cash handling, and end-of-day reconciliation.
  • Monitor store performance and help achieve sales and service targets.

Sales & Business Growth

  • Drive retail sales across pool chemicals, equipment, and accessories.
  • Identify opportunities to promote pool servicing, maintenance programs, and equipment upgrades.
  • Support local marketing initiatives and in-store promotions.

Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure safe handling and storage of pool chemicals.
  • Maintain workplace health and safety standards.
  • Follow company procedures and franchise guidelines.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous retail management or store management experience
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to manage operations, scheduling, and stock control
  • Sales-driven with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and hands-on environment
  • Pool industry experience is highly regarded but not essential (training provided)
